I competed in the last AER (American Endurance Racing) race at Lime Rock Park in a spec E30 Bmw race car for team Proformance coaching and Drive Gear Racing. My team ended up qualifying in 4th. We went up against very competitive teams in a 10 hour endurance race where we ended up getting on the podium, finishing in 2nd place overall.
I competed in the second last AER race at the famed Watkins Glen International Raceway. I was able to have professional race car driver Mike Skeen as one of my teammates. Our Proformance Coaching/ Crapcan Racing team ended up sweeping the weekend and winning both of the dual 7.5 hour endurance races and was blessed enough to stand in victory lane at "The Glen". This was my first ever race in one of these Bmw Race cars.
I competed in rounds 9&10 of the Skip Barber Formula Car summer series at Putnam Park in Indiana. This was my second race ever behind the wheel of a race car with some amazing competition. On the first race day, I qualified in 5th and ended up battling hard with the three other leaders but ended up falling short of my first ever podium in a race car by one position in 4th. The next day was rainy and I ended up keeping the car on the track the whole race and ended up finishing in 3rd place and grabbing my first ever podium in a race car in my second ever race in one.
I competed in my first ever races in a race car at rounds 7&8 of the Skip Barber Formula Car Summer Series at Lime rock Park in Connecticut. These two races were some of the most memorable as for my first race ever I was going head to head with the leaders of the race but just falling short of a podium. I recieved the Rookie of the Weekend award for my perserverance and my racing in my first ever race in a race car.
